My husband and I are first time parents and we found that sticking to a structured schedule, was the only thing that kept our lives from complete insanity after going back to work. Ensuring a nap and bedtime routine are SOO important to help everyone get into a new routine. There is no way I could have continued performing at work, if I wasn’t sleeping at night. By 4 months, our kiddo was sleeping 12 hours a night, with two naps. Thank you to all the mothers who stressed the importance of a sleep schedule! It sounds impossible, but I promise, each little step you can take towards the routine will make your life as new parents easier, AND more enjoyable. Also, just remember… You are amazing. You can do this. You are not alone. We are all in this together!
